Giving access to administrators

Sometimes lab members are assigned to update the lab website.  Administrator access should be done by the PI as follows…

  • Select USERS on the left menu
  •  Click on Add New
    • If the person is not NEW to WordPress, choose Add Existing user
      • enter their email address.
      • Change role to Administrator
    • If the person is NEW to wordpress and has no other wordpress pages, use the Add New User option
      • Enter Kerberos UID
      • Enter email address
      • Change role to Administrator
  • USER will be sent an invitation via email.
