Plug-ins and tools are added after being tested and approved by the Campus WordPress Service. If there are plug-ins or functionality needed for your site, please submit a request at IET.
Below are a list of available Tools and Plug-ins.
Tools
- Import – Import your site’s xml file from another site
- Export – Export your site to another WordPress site
- Delete Site – Once you delete, the domain will no longer be available
- Domain Mapping – change domain from “faculty.ucdavis.edu” to a preferred domain.
Plug-ins
- Aggie-Feed Widget – Displays customizable Aggie Feed Widget
- FormGet Contact Form – FormGet Contact Form is an easy and effective form builder tool which enable you to bulid and embed form on your website in few steps. With FormGet Contact Form manage all your contact forms and your entire client communication at one single place. This does not save client data. An alternative is to use QUALTRICS, create a “survey” then link to the survey. If you don’t have a Qualtrics account, please submit a ticket to DSS IT
- MU Site Rank – Ranks all multsites based off number of pages, posts, users, default templates, etc. Rankings can be seen under Tool->Site Rankings on the Dashboard by Super Admins
- rtSocial – It is the lightest social sharing plugin, uses non-blocking Javascript and a single sprite to get rid of all the clutter that comes along with the sharing buttons.
- Events Calendar – The Events Calendar is a carefully crafted, extensible plugin that lets you easily share your events.
- TinyMCD Advance – Enables advanced features and plugins in TinyMCE, the visual editor in WordPress.
- Video Sidebar Widgets – Video Sidebar Widgets to display videos such as Vimeo, YouTube, MySpace Videos etc. Now with added shortcode and quicktag to embed video in post and page content.
- WordPress Team Manager – This plugin allows you to manage the members of your team or staff and display them using shortcode. This can be used to list Lab Members
- WP Control – WP Crontrol lets you view and control what’s happening in the WP-Cron system.
- WP Subscribe – WP Subscribe is a simple but powerful subscription plugin which supports MailChimp, Aweber and Feedburner.
